   I'd like to know why some values of machine/_G_config.h are different
   on alpha than on i386 -- in special:
   _G_HAVE_SYS_RESOURCE -- why's that 0 on alpha? It's 1 on i386.


my alpha has "1" for this.  sounds like a build problem (_G_config.h is a
built file, see gnu/lib/libstdc++/config).
