Thanks to Bill Sommerfeld who found a fatal bug in my CPU spinup
trampoline, we have gotten to single-user mode on a multiprocessor
Alpha running a multiprocessor kernel which runs both kernel and
user code on the secondary CPUs.

Now, the machine hung when we tried to do anything interesting (like
"fsck" :-), but once again, Bill came to the rescue and found the
deadlock while I was on my way to work.  I've committed a fix for
the deadlock, and will test it tonight when I get home.  It's likely
we'll have multi-user tonight.
