Hi Wilko,
Yes, it needs 36bit, but I did that to make sure something was 
happening - got the beeps so I knew something was going on.
My logic, perhaps faulty, was that the cpu had to execute to
see if there was ram, and it did, did not find the right stuff,
so it beeped.
I then put the right mem in it, and it stopped beeping.  So....
