It seems so, but at least we know a bit more and this helps to get a
proper bug report compiled for the mySQL folks.

As soon as I have netBSD running on my machine, I will try and compile
mySQL and check for this error. Using mySQL since several years and found
many oddities which Monty solved meanwhilst.
