I just got to digging a little deeper, and according to the technical summary
on Compaq's site
(http://ftp.digital.com/pub/Digital/Alpha/systems/as2100/docs/technical_summary.pdf)
it seems like the only real difference between Lynx and Sable is that Sable has
8 EISA slots and 3 PCI, and Lynx has 3 EISA and 8 PCI. If someone can confirm
this, it really wouldn't seem like it would take that much effort to add support
for Lynx. (Granted that I don't have a lot of experience with the NetBSD kernel
so Im just making what seem like logical assumptions :)

If anyone wants to comment (or tell me how wrong I am :), please do.
