Hi !

Since several says, i set up my AXPpci with NetBSD, tried around a bit with
RAIDframe on it, did some strange things to get it running stable, kicked my
RL-8139 into trash and got fingers on a sixpack 3c905, and now wanted to finish
the work by putting some ISA graphics card into it. the PCI card (S3 virge)
does strange things: It works, but the message "BIOS emulation..." doesn't
appear, there is just a bunch of crap on the screen. The S3 868 doesn't work
at all, and my Mach64 seems to be broken. Every ISA card i tried works in
the usual console mode, but when the kernel starts, it doesn't show anything.
PCI cards work, but this board just has 3 PCI slots, a bit too less for what i
want to do with the machine.

So, does anybody have hints how to get ISA graphics cards running in NetBSD for
text console, or isn't this simply supported? i386 works, i think, and this
also doen't use card BIOS, maybe some "drivers" should be linked in?

Thanx in advance for any help.

...Michael
