sorry if this is a third copy, I have note seen any data back from this
news group.

I am still trying to coerce a coupl of my machines to 1.4.1.
The approach I am fighting with is trying to get gzip onto the boxes.
I hosed up both my multia and my 3000.  I have only the generic root
partition available on both. yeah, I can hose up most anything.

I have a floppy available on my multia.
I have a floppy on my PC164.  
Here is the problem:
I can't seem to get the right command to mount an msdos floppy, so I can 
write gzip on it.

I can't figure out how to mount the floppy and put anything on the
little scumbag.
sorry, frustrating....

any advice greatly appreciated.
