Subject: should I buy a 433a?

I have an opportunity to pick up a pair of Miata 433a. They're
both 128 meg RAM, 2 gig disk, $600 ea. I'd put them to use
as firewalls/print servers/etc.

Considering the problems people seem to be having with the
pyxis chipset on this list, should I bother? They'll be
used in a university physics lab, and we'd be stuck with them
if they didn't work... Any suggestions as to how I could make
sure that they'd work with NetBSD before purchasing, such as
motherboard revision, etc?

Thank you,

Brian
