Having problems with a new XP1000:

- loaded 1.4.1 (up and limping - works fine on old XP1000/500MHz)
- "upgraded" to 1.4P (snapshot 19991223) due to SCSI problems
- getting "stray 6600 irq 47" messages, then messages about the
SCSI controller having loaded an earlier firmware. These
messages appear when accessing the disk (like gunzip'ing a
  file):

isp0: Ultra Mode Capable
isp0: Board Revision 1040C, loaded F/W Revision 4.65.0
isp0: Last F/W revision was 5.57.1
isp0: 243 max I/O commands supported
isp0: enabled FW features (0x1)

- system dies subsequently

System specs (short version):

- 21264A-8 667MHz (CPU not recognized, see below)
- 1024 MB RAM
- Firmware 5.6-11

There is also the issue of the DEGPA-SX gigabit card not getting quite
recognized (see the "ti0" line), but that's secondary at this
point.

Any thoughts? The system is not really usable at either 1.4.1 or
1.4P.
