Hi,

Thanks for pointing me out that the SRM firmware was 3.3.  I have
indeed upgraded the firmware to 7.0.  However, I have forgotten to
recycle the power :-(

Now, I believe my Alpha can be successfully netbooted.  However,
it only went as far as ...

cpu0 at mainbus0: 1D 0 (primary) 21064A-3 (pass 2)
tcasic0 at mainbus 0
tc0 at tcasic0: 25 MHz clock
ioasci0 at tc0 slot 7 offset 0x0: fast mode
le0 at ioasic0 offset 0xc0000: address xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
le0: 32 receive buffers, 8 transmit buffers
scc0 at ioasic0 offset 0x10000
scc1 at ioasic0 offset 0x18000
SWITCHING TO SERIAL CONSOLE!

then hanged!
