Since I've got a AlphaPC164LX, I've got my kernel compiled with 

	COPTS=-O2 -mcpu=21164a -Wa,-m21164a

Now, every time I run xosview, I get a Floating Exception.  Nothing
shows up on the console.  

I've rebuilt xosview from scratch, and even tried putting the same
COPTS= line in my /etc/mk.conf - but that seems to be ignored by the
xosview Makefile.

Any ideas?
