So, I had my machine boot, automatically.  A while later, it died (ex0 stopped
responding).  I rebooted.  It just came up to the prompt.  All the settings
(bootdef_dev, boot_osflags, auto_action) were blank again.  Am I missing
something obvious, like a "save" command?
