Ok, I've made some progress with my somewhat stubborn Alpha box.

It seems that the RZ26L drive was not reporting its geometry to NetBSD.
Therefore, it was not registered as a valid hard drive. I tried a Fujitsu
M2694ESA series (another 1 gig SCSI), and ran into another problem:
Although it identifies to NetBSD no problem, disklabel hangs whenever I try
to access the drive.

It's getting late, so I'm going to get some sleep. Does ANYone know the
command from the console prompt to low-level format SCSI drives? I'd really
like to try that before I abandon the latest attempt.

	Thanks in advance.
