Subject: No go, system still hangs

As mentioned in my previous message, I've been having difficulty getting
NetBSD 1.4 to boot from the CD on my 3000/600 box. Initially, I thought the
actual media was at fault. This theory was later dispelled after I burned a
duplicate of said media, and it did exactly the same thing.
As a recap: The system begins its boot cycle, then hangs at this point:
scc1 at ioasic0 offset 0x180000
The only thing that clears the hang is a power cycle. Any guesses?
Theories? Wild speculations?
Thanks in advance.
