I'm trying to use tip to get from one machine to the console on another.  
I find the following at the end of /etc/remote, but I don't find 
a /dev/tty00 or /dev/tty01 on my system. 

   # Hardwired line
   com0c|com0:dv=/dev/tty00:br#9600:dc:
   com0b:dv=/dev/tty00:br#2400:dc:
   # REMEMBER NOT TO USE PARITY!
   console:dv=/dev/tty01:br#9600:pa=none:dc:


I tried using /dev/ttyC0 and /dev/ttyC1 but didn't get anywhere. 
What am I missing?   It's probably something simple/stupid.
