Hi all,
First...sorry for the ignorance, I'm a Macintosh guy by upbringing...& with
Macs it "just works"...no playing needed in most cases.

When you add a card (ISA or PCI) to an AlphaStation, is it necesary to run
the isacfg utility in the SRM, or does NetBSD figure out things on its own?
I just threw in a 56k PCI modem card, and didn't notice anything new in the
dmesg. I then (just for fun, mostly) threw in both a 14.4 modem PCMCIA card
and an EtherNet PCMCIA cardI connected the modem cards (both) to valid
phone lines, but leaving the Ethernet card unattached since I'm currently
using an X-over cable to connect my Alpha with another computer. How would
I go about accessing them? I tried makedev ttyC2 to see if that'd build a
device for 1 of the modems (the 56k), but access to that tells me that it's
not configured.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
