Ooops.  My bad.  I'll fix that tonight, but to answer your question,
the code should not be exercised except on the TC alphas, and we will
probably want them enabled (at least in GENERIC) anyway.

Are the only undefined references to sfb_cnattach() in tc_3000_x00.o?
