Sometime between two weeks ago and yesterday, I started getting this error
whenever trying to compile a kernel with "options DEBUG":

cc -O2 -Werror -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wno-format -Wno-main -mno-fp-regs -I. -I../../../../arch -I../../../.. -nostdinc -DDEBUG -DDIAGNOSTIC -DCOMPAT_43 -DSYSVMSG -DSYSVSEM -DSYSVSHM -DMAXUSERS=64 -D_KERNEL -Dalpha -c ../../../../arch/alpha/alpha/compat_13_machdep.c
../../../../arch/alpha/alpha/compat_13_machdep.c: In function `compat_13_sys_sigreturn':
../../../../arch/alpha/alpha/compat_13_machdep.c:78: `sigdebug' undeclared (first use in this function)
../../../../arch/alpha/alpha/compat_13_machdep.c:78: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
../../../../arch/alpha/alpha/compat_13_machdep.c:78: for each function it appears in.)
../../../../arch/alpha/alpha/compat_13_machdep.c:78: `SDB_FOLLOW' undeclared (first use in this function)
*** Error code 1

Stop.
