I tried to shuffle some hardware around to see if it made a
difference, which it didn't.

One interesting thing, is that if I put a TGA2 in one of the three
32-bit slots (behind a PPB), the kernel crashes. It doesn't crash if I
put an old S3 card in the same slot. Putting it in a 64-bit slot
produces the same result as with the TGA2 (vga0 at isa0).
