If there was a good reason to do another snapshot I would be happy to
crank one out...though it's a little difficult this week due to egcs
integration issues. (Yes, the old, separate, alpha toolchain module has
been taken out and shot. The alpha toolchain is now the in-tree egcs
code, though not completely able to deal with the entire source tree
yet.)

There was a time when kernel builds got errosr from the ncr SCSI driver,
but that was between 7/31 and 8/10.

You know, you have given us next to no information...could you maybe
elaborate on what `current kernel won't boot' means?  If you received a
report from someone with as little info as you have provided, what would
you think?  And how new are yours sources, etc, etc...
