What version of NetBSD are you using, and when do the machine checks
happen?

Basically, I made the PCI support code for the PC164 use BWX PCI config
space if it exists, and that made machine checks go away when devices
behind PCI-PCI bridges were probed on 164SX and Miata systems... Your
LX has the same core logic chipsets as the 164SX and Miata (a Pyxis),
so this might be an issue for you, as well.
