A new binary snapshot of the April NetBSD-current is now available.

It is presently available on ftp.netbsd.org now and by tomorrow
(Friday 5/8/1998) it should be on all the mirror sites.

See:

	ftp://host-name/pub/NetBSD/arch/alpha/19980419/

The snapshot does not contain X, the toolchain, or any instructions,
so for these components please see the release directory:

	ftp://host-name/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-1.3/alpha

The snapshot is in release(7) format. In the installation/netboot
subdirectory is a netboot.gz that can be used to netboot up the
snapshot. If netbooting, see also binary/kernel/README.

If you find bugs in -current or with the installation procedure in
general, please report them with the send-pr(1) program. Issues
related to the installation of this particular snapshot should be
reported to ross@netbsd.org (aka ross@teraflop.com).

The usual cautions about running -current apply. A fun new feature
in NetBSD/alpha-current is support for a 4 TB address space. The
new pmap (thanks Jason!) also finally kills the old maxusers-must-be-
really-small bug. (These changes require only a kernel upgrade,
but to run config(8), recompile the kernel, and to have consistent
<includes> a complete upgrade is needed.)
