I've tried it, and it appears to work just fine excepting that
during the boot it doesn't manage to read the geometry properly.
It does read it properly when I do a disklabel without -r (on a
disk with no diskabel on it.) I copied 40 MB of files on to the
disk (an old Quantum 105; it gave me about 600 K/sec) and they all
compared just fine.
