I recently had almost the exact same symptoms with my Multia (freeze, reboot,
random stuff, etc). I had just upgraded to the latest snapshot, and it was
solid for about a week, when it started. I have an identical unit here at
work that is still up since the upgrade.

I tried a new kernel from Jason with Matt's fixes to if_de. This helped, but I
still was getting lockups (though less frequently). Then I noticed (again)
that on boot, I was getting a 'kbd test 7 failed' on the console. I figured
what the heck, and I swapped for a different keyboard, and I've had no more
problems with my multia at home.

The one at work is still up with no poblems, and I note that I never really
use the console on the one at work.

I wonder if something in the new snapshot console driver was changed
recently...
