Subject: crash dumps on NetBSD/alpha?

Hi,

I'm playing around with some NetBSD kernel code on a DEC Multia and
have managed to introduce some sort of system panic scenario. But,
the system seems to want to reboot upon panic and then never finds
a crash dump when "savecore" runs on reboot. So, I never get any
panic string info from which to begin debugging. My questions are:

	1. Is it even possible to save a crash dump image on the
NetBSD Alpha port? If so, is it possible to analyze the
dump using some sort of debugging tool?

	2. Is there a way to disable auto-rebooting, so that I can
at least glean the panic string when the system goes
	   belly-up?

Thanks for any help - pointers to any existing documents are also
welcome...

Regards,

Fred
