I hadn't tried to restore until now - though I have been dumping it,
the dumps seem to be corrupted.  I also get the following errors on
all but level 0 dumps, though I'm not sure these are related to dump:

I'm moving all my stuff to an NFS mounted disk - thanks for pointing
