"How big a lot?" 8-) If it's close enough, it could run with no
change...

If I understand the nature of the UDB systems correctly, they support
Digital UNIX and therefore include SRM console firmware. Is that
correct?

the NCR 53c810 SCSI is supported, as are all of the on-board devices
_except_ the sound hardware.

The big question is, what systype does it call itself. if it says
that it's an AXPpci, it'll probably work. If it says that it's a
AlphaStation [24]xx-family machine, it'll work as well. If it reports
another systype, it's likely unsupported, because of the PCI Alphas
which exist, only those families and the AlphaStation 600 family is
supported.

The 8bpp TGA (a.k.a. ZLXp-E1) is currently the _ONLY_ card for which X
is supported under NetBSD/Alpha. "you win!" 8-)

In the long run, the sound card will work. In the mean time, you'd
need a _lot_ of hacks to make it work.
