A happy eastern everyone,

I have been compiling a few packages since I installed netbsd-1.1 onto my
system which I now made available for anonymous ftp on
hotdog.apana.org.au:/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-alpha/contrib. Don't get me
wrong - this stuff is pretty much standard - but then I haven't been
able to source it as an binary from any other host.

I also invite you, who succesfully compiled a package, to upload it
to hotdog.apana.org.au:/pub/incoming. This way we may be able to
establish an archive of NetBSD-alpha binaries which are known to work and give
newbies, such as myself, a good starting point.

This system is connected to the Internet through a 28.8k modem...,
so don't expect to break any records :)

cheerio Berndt
