I think it is an upstream problem...
I quickly read fonts/ghostscript-cidfonts-ryumin DESCR and if they are the
most used fonts in japanese documents IMO they should be supported.
I'm not sure but I think that all the fonts supported by mupdf is under
${WRKSRC}/resources/fonts.

If you have some time free can you fill a bug report and report this issue
upstream?
Otherwise please attach a small PDF document with the two fonts and I will
try to fill a bug report or I will contact the mupdf developers in some way.
