With 2.2.5, we see Finder windows randomly coming up empty with MacOS X 
10.9, especially for one user who used to mount his home directory over 
afp. It appears to work fine with 10.6, which for various reasons I am 
sticking with.

The last update to the 2-2 branch has been a while, and upstream has 
made it very clear that they don't care about AppleTalk. The project 
has always been carried forward by one or two people at a time, and the 
current maintainer will fix things if they are obvious and backed by 
patches, or paid-for.
