My question still has no resolution. I resend a question to jlam@. No
answer.  Can anobody explain how to use inplace.mk?
As I already said replacing libnbcompat/buildlink3.mk with inplace.mk
doesn't work.

Again, I ask why not restore buildlink3.mk that can coexist with
replace.mk?
