reviving opal

Hi,

I wanted to revive opal, since a newer version had been release since it was
removed from wip. Although it still doesn't build (could be still needing an
even newer version of pwlib that's not in HEAD), i think it's worth keeping in
wip. I attempted to reimport it and i don't think that worked. What's the
proper command to do such a thing?
