Do the "diff -e" style patches work with pkgsrc out-of-the-box?  I doubt it
since for example they don't contain the filename to be patched.  

I don't want to spend a lot of time to get this working if I'm not even
sure it's necessary.  wip/jdk14 has always had diff -u style patches in the
past, and the FreeBSD port also has some.  And I assume the FreeBSD port is
ok with the licenses.  

But correct me if I'm wrong.
