Well I'm not sure if setting it is a pkgsrc-specific change as I don't 
remember what happens in a non pkgsrc build, but 
having "/usr/pkg/lib" in it is definitely a pkgsrc-specific change 
dating from Feb and thats the bit that causes grief on NetBSD with 
linux binaries.
