AFAIK to get any sound at all from flash9 in the linux
emulation of NetBSD you'll need a libflashsupport.so
because standard flash9 linux distribution only does
ALSA. If you have gotten sound without libflashsupport.so,
please enlighten me how to do that.

I grabbed

https://svn.revolutionlinux.com/MILLE/RELEASE/mille-xterm/Mandriva/2006/devel/i586/libflashsupport-1.0-2098.i586.rpm

to get a working libflashsupport.so

And yes, I've seen the crashes that Juan RP described too.
With youtube videos I usally get sound varying from seconds
to minutes, after which a crash happens. It's the
libflashplayer.so which causes the crash, haven't
gotten anything useful from running ktrace unfortunately.

An interesting testcase might be http://www.onbezet.nl/
where I get an immediate crash using firefox 1.5.0.9,
flash9 and the libflashsupport.so describe earlier.
