They really did an admirable job bringing this branch back to life;
I'm sure some of you saw the detritus of what was once wscons support
(the infamous and mystifying bsd_bell.c is gone).

This is on amd64.  When I get a chance at some point I'd like to
correct all of the help-i-didnt-know-64-bit-comptuers-existed error
messages that scroll by during the build repeatedly.

The only thing that doesn't make sense to me now is why my keyboard
isn't working; hopefully I'll figure that out tomorrow.  Oh well, a
minor problem. ;)

BTW, is there an Xorg font-alias package in pkgsrc that I missed?  It
seems to be essential so the server can find the font aliased to
'fixed'.

If not, there is one in pkgsrc-wip now.

If anyone's interested in playing around with this  or improving on
what I did, please let me know and I will send diffs.
