I wasn't certain if there were interactions with the serial console
option, which is what I had used.

Yes, I now have that fix in my copy.   

It looks like the .iso option was broken when someone else added the
NetBSD-bootable support.  I'll commit as soon as I've tested the 
cdrtools-ossdvd change and incorporate the amd-64 change.
