I was wondering if you managed to resolve the issue you faced
with freeradius as I seem to be experiencing the same issue:

radiusd: Error detected by libpthread: Invalid mutex.
Detected by file "/home/builds/ab/netbsd-3-0-1-RELEASE/src/lib/libpthread/pthread_mutex.c", line 133, function "pthread_mutex_destroy".
