Hello Joerg,

I got home early this morning, refreshed my pkgsrc, rebuilt
spcaview and tried it.  It works!  At first the view was
pitch black, but I fiddled with the contrast options and now
have a working camera.  This means a lot because it should
enable my parents to videoconference with their most recent
grandchild.
