It probably may not be using that /opt/pkg/lib/X11/app-defaults/ resource
files.
Maybe do: pkg_info -D xpkgwedge
Try setting XAPPLRESDIR in your environment to point to your
/opt/pkg/lib/X11/app-defaults.
Or make your own custom resource file. Or do something like:
echo 'xosview*loadAlarmThreshold: 2' | xrdb
I don't use xosview myself, so hopefully this works :)
