x11/xtermcontrol: update to 3.11

2026-08-28  Jess Thrysoee

   * Version 3.11

   * src/xtermcontrol.c: Fix tmux passthrough of OSC sequences, broken since
        the switch to ST terminators in 3.5; setting colors and title works
        under tmux again.

   * src/xtermcontrol.c: Never hang or crash on truncated or malformed query
        replies; report an error instead. Strip control characters from
        reported values so a hostile terminal cannot inject escape sequences.

   * src/xtermcontrol.c: get-title: accept BEL-terminated replies.

   * src/xtermcontrol.c: Exit nonzero when a query fails. Report invalid
        --geometry arguments instead of silently ignoring them.

   * src/xtermcontrol.c: Apply options in command-line order, so
        '--reset --bg=red' resets before setting the color.

   * src/xtermcontrol.c: --force and --verbose alone no longer suppress the
        configuration file.

   * src/xtermcontrol.c: Accept tmux TERM values, or TMUX set, in the TERM
        check.

   * src/xtermcontrol.c: --file: expand '~' only in '~/' paths; report unset
        HOME instead of misbehaving.

   * src/xtermcontrol.c: Open /dev/tty for the controlling terminal, so
        redirecting all of stdin/stdout/stderr works. Restore terminal
        settings when killed by a signal.

   * src/configuration.c: Trim trailing whitespace from configuration values,
        e.g. 'background = white # comment', and warn on empty values. Report
        configuration file errors with the actual reason, not always ENOENT.
