I'm not really sure about tcl/tk, but I proposed their removal from
bulk-medium a month ago and nobody objected.

perl -> common as a tool in unix scripts
python -> probably the most popular programming language right now
php -> strong legacy in web development
ruby -> japan's python, rails
lua -> popular for embedding into software
tcl -> ???
