This removal of py-crypto was not discussed and of course the reverted tahoe still needs it. Please revert this removal. (After the branch, I think we can get a few versioned packages in place and get tahoe update to what I parked in wip, which will enable removing this and quite a few of the other 27-only packages. But that feels like too much rapid churn in the final days. Sorry for starting on this; in hindsight I should have only put new things in wip and not committed anything at all.)
