This is an old and unmaintained package. There is an active fork of bumprevision called bump2version. I suggest removing this > package and importing bump2version instead, and using PYPI instead of GITHUB to obtain the distfile. I did not see this; it also indicates there is a discussion about merging the fork back to the original project, however it does not seem to be active either. I am about to import py-bump2version from PYPI as suggested. Once this done I will remove py-bumpversion. Cheers, -- khorben
