Can you please always provide a changelog when updating packages or a
summary of changes or - if no changelog is provided upstream -
explicitly point out that?  In general this help readers of
pkgsrc-changes@ to have an idea on what expecting when updating the
package, MAINTAINERs and other teams like pkgsrc releng and
pkgsrc-security@.
