The problem with the cpp searching is the -std option triggered by
having c++14 in USE_LANGUAGES. Setting it back to c++11 makes it build
on -7 without needing to install a new gcc.

Adding c++14 to USE_LANGUAGES in options.mk where needed should be
sufficient.
