At mine it reliabily failed for ap24-php71-7.1.20 with host NetBSD
8.0/amd64 and target NetBSD-8.0/i386 using system gcc.

I will add a .if ${OPSYS} == "NetBSD"  since it seems difficult get a
more precise idea of where the problem is. At least it is not only at
mine since there is a PHP bug report about memory fault during the build
on NetBSD.
