Upstream changes:
Version 1.0.8 2010/08/09
- path.packages instead of .path.package (later is defunct).
- change in lm.phylog to prevent (incorrect) note about no visible binding
  for global variable \xe2\x80\x98sim.counter\xe2\x80\x99 in a call to subset.
