Was gobject-introspection on Mac OSX built individually for the failure,
or was that also a pbulk run?

For the Mac OS X case, I am just packaging doxygen-1.8.1.1 and
on the way to that, gobject-introspection is on DEPENDS list probably
(I don't have pbulk environmet for Mac OS X yet, sorry).

Is lang/gcc-aux installed on that Mac OSX machine?

if you were only packaging specific packages and don't have bulk runs on that machine, I would think lang/gcc-aux is NOT installed it.
