Log Message:
Update emacs-snapshot to 24.0.50.20110505.

Patches provided by Makoto Fujiwara in PR 44871.

Changes:
 - keep config.log (Bug#765) and delete config.log~.
 - Fix bug with --enable-checking=stringoverrun to have no effect.
 - Suppress unnecessary checks for size_t for configure.
 - Add strtoumax for GNULIB_MODULES.
 - Check for GnuTLS certificate verify callbacks.
 - Don't erase config.status in case of error.
